The management of University of Lagos (UNILAG) has increased the tuition fee for returning undergraduate students. According to the fresh hike, returning non-science students are expected to pay N120,250 against the previous N80,750. Although, the university management is yet to announce the new school fees but students who have logged in to school portal to generate payment for the new academic session, found out that their school fees has been jack up by 48.9 percent which is approximately 50 percent. It was recalled that the tuition fees for undergraduate students was N16,000 before it was increase to N80,750 in 2023.

Monday, October 7th, has been declared a public holiday for Ogun State teachers, courtesy of Governor Dapo Abiodun. This is fantastic news for educators in the state. Governor Dapo Abiodun, a renowned businessman and politician, has been serving as the Governor of Ogun State since May 2019. This public holiday is a well-deserved recognition of teachers' hard work and dedication. It's a wonderful opportunity for them to relax, recharge, and come back to the classroom with renewed energy.

Reflections on My Time as Student Union President I have been tested and proven worthy, receiving a merit award and honor in the presence of esteemed leaders and peers this isn’t to drive ego but to tell the coming ones that they can do better. My ultimate goal is to become a passionate advocate and voice for the masses, even when it's challenging and uncomfortable.
