My name is SENATOR OSANWUTA EMMANUEL OLUWATIMILEYIN. A student of Business Education 400 Level. An aspirant vying for the post of the next Tasuedsu president.

The preacher and convener of PROGRESS'25

I define Progress as a Movement towards a goal or desired outcome, implying improvement, advancement, growth, or development.

It is an honor to have this opportunity to represent you and work towards creating a vibrant and inclusive community within our university. Together, let's build a brighter future for all students. I'll do everything within the best of my ability that when I emerge this will be my priorities.

My primary responsible is safeguarding the academic interests and personal welfare of students’ as well as ‘ensuring that the Union is acting in a way which promotes the academic interests and welfare of students’ of this great institute.

Improve academic excellence and advancing necessary learning facilities, whereas students will have enough lectures that prepare them for exam.

I will run a government of unity, bringing together for the task at hand, all competent honest, and diligent students irrespective of their political affiliations


Your voice matters, I will advocate for students right and make sure all students voice are be heard and no one is left behind. 

I will collaborate with campus security and all community and law enforcement authorities to strengthen our campus safety measures.


I want to be connected to students, 

I am honest competent, humble and determined to locks hands together with other executive and all College and departmental executives to rebuild and restore students trust in the student union government and give students reasons to love and adore our great university again. 

This is my promise to you all. I will work for you with pure hearts and skillful hand.


Together, we can transform our university into a thriving community where every student's voice is valued, opportunities abound, and growth is nurtured. 

As your President, I am dedicated to representing your interests, working tirelessly to address your concerns, and ensuring a rewarding academic journey for all. I can't do this on my own, I'll need every support I can get from the prestigious students of this great citadel of learning. 

Remember, change begins with your vote. Let us come together, united by our vision for a brighter future. Vote for progress, and vote for a candidate who will advocate for your needs.

Lawrence Mayowa David (Mayorlaw) wishes all students a safe and smooth journey home as they proceed for the festive break.
